We sent our music editor Lily Golob to the new, greatly anticipated tour from Sam Ezra.

Soulful, energetic and contemporary are what best describe this show. After a nearly two year hiatus from live performances, Ezra is back. Spanning three continents with over 50 shows, fans flocked to get tickets, selling out in a matter of hours. I'll have to admit, at first I was skeptical. Too many artists have struggled to branch the gap between old and new listeners, which is often indicated when performing live. But Ezra did not disappoint. The setlist was a perfect mixture of classic hits and newer music from his many collaborations. Guest artists created a colourful atmosphere and the energy was infectious.
To me, Ezra's music was the soundtrack of my youth. Seeing that generation come back together after so many years was incredibly moving. Ezra himself commented on the tour saying " it's the best thing I've done in years, I am so happy to be back". Overall, I'd say the show is a must see for all fans old and new. The performance is refreshing and exciting, making a great night out with family and friends. Ezra's new album is available to pre-order now on all streaming sights.
